Who we are
Founded in July 2020, Women for Weapons Trade Transparency is a non-profit organization investigating and promoting transparency of U.S. weapons sales and militarization. Our team researches, analyzes data, and leads advocacy efforts.
Our mission
The mission of Women for Weapons Trade Transparency is to promote the accessibility of information about the international weapons trade through the publication of easily interpretable research and to champion disruptors as we collectively advocate for humane, sustainable, progressive, and anti-imperialist policy.
Our vision
Women for Weapons Trade Transparency envisions a world in which the manufacture, sale, and use of weapons of war has drastically decreased, where inter and intrastate conflicts are mitigated peacefully, and where every human being is safe, secure, and free from oppression.
